Pimlico Toy Library activities in Summer 2021

Pimlico Toy Library has been supporting families since lockdown on March 17th 2020, providing online sessions in Music, Art, child development skills, giving out essential items, and running one-to-one sessions. Sheila even managed to squeeze in some outings when restrictions allowed.

What’s happening for members at Pimlico Toy Library from April?

Parent and child groups are allowed to open if they are able to comply with the Covid restrictions in place, including having the space to enable social distancing between each household in the building, a strict cleaning routine and the need for adults to wear masks.

While Sheila and Maggie start to get the site ready to reopen, clear the play area which has become a warehouse of items to give to families, get the building deep cleaned, sort the toy stock and plan the programme for the year, we will continue with online zoom sessions and hopefully some more outings.

August

We are planning a three week August Summer Activity programme for 0- 11 year olds and their parent/carer, and have hired inside and outside areas at Churchill Garden Academy, which gives us the space to comply with the regulations for social distancing.
